Jacob Lee MaGee, 30, of rural Lamar, Nebraska, died on Saturday, August 13th, 2016 as the result of an ATV accident.
Jacob was born March 11th, 1986, in North Platte, Nebraska, the younger of two boys born to Ron and Dawn (Franssen) MaGee.

After his education, Jacob worked for Sweet Water Cattle Company, north of Kearney, Nebraska and later took a job with Phelps County Feeders, north of Bertrand, Nebraska.
On August 1st, 2015, Jacob was united in marriage to Nichole L. Boden at his farm south of Holdrege.
As a young man, Jacob enjoyed Boy Scouts and Phelps County Dog 4-H. In later years, he enjoyed getting stuck in the mud with his brother, Zane and four-wheeling. He loved spending time at the farm and with his family. He could take scraps of metal and wood and using his hands, build anything! More than anything, Jacob enjoyed working with cattle and being a cowboy! He would spend countless hours nursing calves.
